This photo is called "SnowArt". I took it in March of this year (1999). It was a theatrical arrangement of steel and stone sculpture by local artists at the DC United Sculpture Garden located at 7th and E Street, NW; - just across from the Shakespeare Theatre. The arrangement of artworks at the garden has since changed ...
- The driving force and creator of this garden and many of the artworks in it is Robert T. Cole.

This is a second summer view of the courtyard fountain at the Hirshhorn Museum and Sculpture Garden on the Mall. The Hirshhorn complex was designed by Gordon Bunshaft and completed in 1974. - The classical structure in the distance is the National Archives.
I call this photo, shot in June of 1999:
"Hirshhorn Fountain."
