Stepping off the second floor balcony we come to this more famous scene from the center: the Grand Foyer. Featured are: a bronze bust of President Kennedy under Swedish crystal chandeliers and lots of glass; viz. - four story high mirrors, and behind the bust equally tall windows.

I call this shot, taken in February 2002:

"Kennedy Center 3".

Beyond the foyer, under a crisp winter sky, is this view of the exterior of the Kennedy Center. Outside what many writers have referred to as a "pared-down Lincoln Memorial," are trees, fountains and an impressive view of the Potomac river. On view are; - the Georgetown waterfront, the Watergate apartments, the National Cathedral and Roosevelt Island on the Virginia side of the river.

I call this February 2002 photograph:

"Kennedy Center 4"
