This is shot of the C&O Canal behind what looks to be, and once was, an industrial area - but which is today a shopping mall and office complex. About a block further down, the canal comes to an end behind the Four Seasons Hotel. An outlet allows water flowing out of the canal to join Rock Creek as it empties into the Potomac.
